Mobile Operating Systems

We all are familiar about Android , Microsoft , IOS etc .. right ? These are the operating systems which are running on the mobile phones . An operating system is an interface between an user and a hardware device such as personal computers , laptops , mobile phones etc . A mobile OS is designed to run on mobile phones , smart phones , tablets , PDAs and other handheld devices . So mobile operating systems are the software for run applications or programs on the mobile phones . So os are allocating a platform for running any applications.

Different types of OS

Symbian becomes the first operating system on a smartphone with the launch of the Ericsson R380 in 2001 . The Kyocera 6035 is the first smart phone with Palm OS. Then there are many OS are introduced like Android , IOS , Blackberry , Windows etc ..

 There are around 1.5 million users for both Android and Windows OS , Another one , Apple IOS has 800 million users , but apple claims just over 1 million when its OS X platform usage numbers are  combined with IOS . But Android platform has leading in front for selling  the more smartphones .
